If you like Downton Abbey, you will love Whitney Court. Built a decade before The Great War, it epitomizes that golden age, but on a slightly more human scale.

This is the England that was. Don't miss it now.

Filming location

Set in a superb rural location, Whitney Court is a beautiful and authentic example of an Edwardian Manor. Being family owned for generations, we have kept the Manor true to it's original aesthetic ideals, maintaining it sensitively and carefully to pass onto future generations.

From sunny terraces enter the cool and calm of oak paneled halls and beautifully furnished reception rooms … up the grand staircase to bedrooms with their own dressing rooms … along the passage to discover the old governess’s room, a nursery next door and a simple child’s bedroom … up again to the third floor: the servants quarters, some attic spaces full of old suitcases and finally, at the end of the long corridor, two ‘bachelor’ rooms … for visiting bachelors of course.

If you are looking for somewhere special to film and would like to explore the use of Whitney Court for filming purposes, please contact us to arrange a visit.
